Robert L. Davis
About
Attorney Robert "Bob" Davis is a graduate of the University of California Hastings College of Law and a graduate of California State University San Jose, where he received his degree in philosophy.
Early in his professional career, he decided to focus his practice on personal injury litigation and its variety of forms. For more than 40 years, he has placed an emphasis on accepting medical malpractice cases, marking him as a leading Northern California attorney in such claims. Work in this field of law is more important than ever now that multiple safety organizations, including the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), have identified medical errors as one of the leading causes of accidental death in the country.

Equipped to Handle Even the Toughest Case
Attorney Robert Davis has also completed specialized training in workers’ compensation. Managing a workers’ compensation claim is similar to a personal injury claim but also altogether dissimilar. For example, a personal injury claim may hinge upon liability and be filed against a negligent individual, but a workers’ compensation claim may not be too concerned with liability and could be filed against an entire company. With his additional training in California’s complex workers’ compensation laws, he is better equipped to handle such cases than many other lawyers in the state.
The specialized training that Robert has received is not limited to workers’ compensation laws and casework. He also has specialized training in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, from Pepperdine University. Alternative dispute resolution – sometimes called just ADR – allows parties to find amicable solutions to a variety of problems, including injury claims that require a settlement offer, without needing to go through the entire court system.
Attorney Davis has personally tried more than 100 jury trials, which is more jury trials than many law firms have when all of their associates’ experiences are combined. He has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates for more than 20 years.
